Me on the way to the airport in Frankfurt (Germany) |
in this post I will tell you something about my flight to Bangkok. But first, let's introduce the people who will travel with me:
- my sister Sophie
- my father and my mother
- Carina, an old friend of mine who is currently a graduating student in the field biology especially in genetics
Right now I'm in a hotel in Bangkok and my camera cannot connect to the computer, so I will insert pictures later. After this, let's start with the journey: Everything started at the main station in Leipzig. We traveled with the train at 7a.m. to Frankfurt to take our plane to Bangkok. The travel was really smooth and nothing special happened. The real challenges began at the airport of Frankfurt.
When we arrived, there was a barrier of the police between the entrance and the terminals. It was because of an unowned piece of luggage. In that case, the police had to declare this as an possible bomb and had to solve this problem with specialists. And they need their time to work. But we were lucky because they removed it in 10 minutes when we arrived and I think this was no bomb because everyone could freely move afterwards.
Our breakfast on the first day (its no advertisment ;) |
After a short confusion at the check-in because of one of our passports we waited in really comfortable seats at the terminal for our flight. The flight to Bangkok itself was good, we had just a few turbulence. What I really love about flying over 10 hours are the movies you can watch in the plane because they are most of the time movies which were nearly currently in cinema. With "Safe House", "Man On A Ledge" and"Wrath Of The Titans" the flight was really short :)
Next time I will tell you about our arrival in Bangkok and what happened on the first day.
Keep on traveling :)
