Gift Show in Tokyo

Today was very interesting, because at 11a.m. I went together with Maruta-san, Mika-san and Yurie-san to the "76th Tokyo International Gift Show" at Tokyo Big Sight. Maruta-san has his own webshops, so of course his company has to be up to date regarding new products. And for me it was the chance to see what a Gift Show is :)

Lunch: Miso-Ramen as set menu
Like it sounds, companies from all over the world were presenting their latest products. Because the word "gift" has a really broad meaning, you could find nearly anything here. From paintings to toys over old furniture and statues to paper for presents. Unfortunately, I couldn't take any photos from the fair, but that's clear. No one wants his products copied by their competitors:D

Besides the products, there wasn't something special I saw and to just describe some of them seems boring to me. Most of the time we were just wandering around the halls. The most curious thing was that there was a Hawaiian snack stand. Not the stand itself was curious but a meal which looked like a German doughnut. (called "Krapfen" or "Berliner") I never thought that this meal is also made in Hawaii ^^

Bye Bye, Big Sight! See you next time ;)
