Radio in Japan

Just a short one: The radio stations in Japan are pretty cool. Because they really play different kinds of songs. Something that is unthinkable in Germany ;) German radion stations are specialised on a specific genre, for example the best of the 90's and from today. On the other hand, Japanese Radio Station, especially FM Yokohama which I hear all day, play nearly from every genre.

You hear old songs like "A Horse With No Name" or "These boots are made for walking". Partly the original songs, but sometimes also cover bands. Japanese ones, I think. Then you hear also groups like R.E.M., Moby, Nirvana or The Strokes. Also the newest pop and some electronic music. At the most days, during afternoon, the Jazz and Classic music starts. I also heard french rock, pop and othe genres. And on some days you hear Rock, Heavy Metal and so on. That's what I call a diverse mix of music :D

A reason more to stay longer in Japan: Radio that doesn't play always the same songs like a static playlist :D
