1st Day of Work (again)

Maruta-san had some work for me, so I showed up about 1pm in his office. Normally the working day starts at 9am but Maruta-san already said to me that I could make an exception today. You know, because of a minor jetlag and some sleep deprivation. I mean, why do the planes have displays for every passenger with sooo many movies and TV shows? It's just impossible to sleep with these possibilities :D

When I entered the office, I was warmly welcomed by all the people. I really love working in small companies, it's just like family especially in Japan ;) Today I checked some mobile WiFi devices and iPads which had piled up since I left. It's always good to start with some easy work :)

Despite the fact I didn't talk with Japanese people during my "holiday" in Germany, I understood everyone well. Looks like the online learning wasn't for nothing :D Still, I have a long way to go to understand everything perfect. Let's see how much I will be able to understand after these 5 months ^^

Of course, I went shopping groceries this evening, the fridge in my apartment was still empty. And the times when I ate instant noodles soups for weeks are over. But unfortunately my favorite shop for fresh groceries called "Marumoto" went out of business, so I was told. Oh gods, what brutal destiny did you lay upon me? ... Hey, it was really good there :D

So I went to the big department store on my way home. I didn't found the fresh meat, I but had enough for today with rice, salad, tomatoes, onions and so on. Guess what? My first self-made dish in Japan this year was made out of these ingredients ;)
And by the way, to transport 10kg of rice by hand on your way home is not easy. Especially if you got weak by staying in Germany :D
My first shopping in Japan from 2013 vs. the one of 2014
