Let's go to Kyoto!

I went from Thursday evening to Sunday eveving with Oliver to Kyoto and Osaka. Actually, the friday was a public holiday, so we used this opportunity to visit these beautiful cities again. Well, at least Oliver, Osaka was still new for me at this time.

We took the 新幹線 (Shinkansen, bullet train) to Kyoto. Unfortunately, we didn't buy the tickets beforehand, so we got no seats. Well, it's not the most comfortable way to stand about 2 hours in the middle of the aisle, so we transformed our luggage in something what you can call seats :D

Then we tried to get to the Hostel before the reception closing at 11pm by bus. Let's say it this way, if we had took the right bus, we would got there in time ;) So let's memorize: Never trust the electronic sign of the stop when you can't read it 100%. We thought we would get in our bus, but afterwards we noticed this was the following bus, not the actual one. So for about 40 minutes we went into the complete opposite direction with the last bus. But never mind, we just called a taxi which wasn't that bad regarding the price and speed. Despite all negative calculations from my side, we actually went to the hostel in time. And we learned more about reading bus numbers properly :)
Finally there!
Finally, we arrived at the .... really luxury hostel. We had an 温泉 (Onsen, Hot Spring), could rent some Yukata for ¥100 each, had a three person room for us alone, it was really quiet and so on. They even had a tennis court, how awesome is that? And for about ¥3000 this was just awesome. We decided if we would come back again to Kyoto, we would take this hostel again. For all the others: Visit the Utano Youth Hostel :)
This is what happens after an exhausting travel and a Hot Spring ;)
