Today I was invited to visit again a product fair in the "Tokyo Bight Site", a popular fair area. This time the theme was going more into design and Germany. On the homepage they displayed that it had some collaboration with the "Frankfurter Messe" (Fair of Frankfurt) in Germany.

J-Curry: Before / After |
Because it was already lunchtime, we went into a restaurant nearby. And there something unexpected happened to me: I experienced bad service in Japan. No joke, this is something that actually exists in this country, where every employee apologizes especially to clients for the slightest mistakes. In our case, we had a) to wait very long until we could finally order and b) waited a looooooong time until the orders came finally.
In fact, it was so long, that other guests already leaved before or after their ordering. This is also untypical, because Japanese people can wait very long for food. It's not something bad, it's just normal habit. And if even these people had finally enough of waiting, you know that it was way to long. The restaurant didn't had even many guests and the employees didn't look so busy. Damn, is it just me or is my view of Japan broken? ;)

Actually, I don't know what that means oO |
Okay, back to the topic: So we went to the fair and looked on a bunch of interesting things. For example, we were by a company that sold handmade fireworks. Not the typical ones you get in Europe before New Years Eve, but the Japanese ones. maybe some of you saw them in a documentary or movie. If not, ask your favorite search engine :D
I expected more German companies, because of the advertised collaboration, but actually we saw just a few companies. My favorite company was one that sold sweets with images from old but famous children TV shows like "Moomins". And I know this story is from Sweden ^^ But they had actually quite a few shows for their products.
After the fair, we just went for a coffee, that was all for the day :)
