Ofuna Trip #2 + Yakiniku

Sounds like a combination of the two last posts? It is one! :)
Okay, not literally, but in general, I did the same actions at one day. But in my opinion, if you want to discover a place, go there at least three times. Because at the first time, you always have to think about where you are, how you get to the next place and everything is new, so you need time to think about it.
Here we go again :)
From the second time on, you know this place in general and have more "space" to see things and understand them more in detail. But again, that's just my opinion ^^
One of the things I didn't noticed at the first time:
Flowers made of fabric are used everywhere ^^
So, Oliver and me started the day in Ofuna at afternoon. Again, I visited the white and big Buddha Statue at the top of the hill, near the station. We had better weather today, so I think these photos are better than the ones from last week. We already heard about the place, so let's move on ;)
View out of the Station
After the sightseeing, we went to a restaurant nearby for lunch. Nothing really spectacular, I just know that we needed some time to search. At first, we walked nearby the statue but there was nothing. Pretty strange in the area of a point of interest oO

Already Christmas? oO
Then we went back to the station and leaved it through another exit. There we found a nice restaurant among many. I think I ordered a set with egg and rice, but it's now too late to remember and I haven't shoot a photo :D

For the evening, we planned to visit the AIESEC Saint Pauls Local Committee Meeting (LCM), but they elected their new Local Committee President at this time, so of course it was for members only. But why didn't no one mentioned that days before when we started asking? :(

Anyway, Oliver had the idea to call Yurie-san (Axis Network Employee) and meet her for dinner. So we went near her home in an Yakiniku Restaurant. This was different from the others I visited, because you didn't grill your own meat and the portions were smaller. But they tasted much better and each had a very unique kind of taste, and I mean the good kind ^^
Let's start to eat ^^
By the way, white stuff is sliced radish :)
Not much to say, eating, trying, talking and drinking. How an evening should be ;)
Ahh.. before I forget, we had a little earthquake at this time. Even a member from AIESEC asked me if I was okay. I think now I cannot be mad about the thing with the LCM anymore ;)
And that's what you can get
The motto here is: Quality over Quantity :D
Wouldn't have thought I see this kind of area in Japan
I expected every is a high-technology metropolis or very rural
In the end, it's look very familiar ...
I know, but it's really beautiful, isn't it?
Is this an old Buddhist Philosophy?
Meat with Chili Sauce and Wasabi
Could it be better?
Way from the big Statue down
This dish was just called "Onion Meat" ^^
I promise, this is the last one ^^
(in this post)
Grilled Onigiri
Will I come here again?
