Short trip to Ofuna

After my special cure from yesterday (chocolate, tangerines, miso soup with meshed meat and juice), I was today surprisingly healthy :) Simple stuff seems really to be the best ;)
Blackberry Bush on my way
So I went this afternoon, to Ofuna. It's a small city that I saw every time when I was on my way to Kamakura. From the train you can here always see a great white Buddha statue. Therefore, I wanted to visit this place and especially the statue since some weeks.

It was a bit icy today, but I got all the warm clothes I needed. So I went for the search of the entrance. I found it really quick and took just a little detour ;)
The area around the statue is a really nice and peaceful place. You just have to get a bit on the mountain where it lies and you are there ^^
Way to the Top
I found many little statues and shrines in the area. Inside the big statue itself is a little museum and the most decorated altar of this area. The tour around the whole area took me about 1 hour. Before I bore you, here some of my pictures ;)
I've never seen so many beautiful statues than in Japan :)

1001 little Wooden Statues
trust me, I've counted ;)
Is this some kind of aura?
Only here I got this glowing ^^
Are this little plastic toys some kind of tribute?
